After being rescheduled due to flat conditions in May the Aloha Manly Style Pro is set to run this Sunday in six foot and offshore conditions at Curl Curl Beach. With ten to twelve foot waves and strong winds being the early forecast, Bacardi Surf Tour partner Swellnet has now downgraded the weather pattern for the weekend with ideal swell and winds now forecast for Sydney. ....more

As a highly anticipated swell began to fill in, 3 to 4 foot waves grinded off the wall at the southern end of the beach and it was the veterans of Jim Beam Surftag who took the title. However, among their outfit was a debutant in Mitch Parkinson and he dominated in each heat. Scoring a personal total in the final of 28.5, Snapper Rocks didn?t give the other finalists a look in, running away with a monstrous, 117.43 score. ....more
